Linden Hills

Flanked by two lakes with cycling and walking trails, Linden Hills is home to beaches and waterfront parks, as well as the historic Como-Harriet Streetcar Line and the Minnesota Streetcar Museum. Regular summer movies and concerts take place at Lake Harriet Park bandshell, and there’s also a seasonal farmers’ market.

Lake Harriet Park

Lake Harriet Park park offers picturesque views of the lake and the city. The bandshell hosts a variety of summer concerts. A nice-sized playground near the bandshell allows kids to run and have fun before (or during) the music and movies.

Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park

The Minneapolis Chain of Lakes consists of (from the top of the watershed downstream) Twin Lakes, Brownie Lake, Cedar Lake, Lake of the Isles, Lake Calhoun, and Lake Harriet). A great place for a sunny stroll!

The owner of popular Linden Hills butcher shop Clancey's Meats & Fish has purchased the former Grand Cafe restaurant in southwest Minneapolis.
